Us
Santa Rosa, CA. in Sonoma County is home. This beautiful area has the Pacific Ocean on the west side and local mountains /valleys throughout the rest of the area. The Sierra Mountains are about a 4 hour drive and is home to our favorite place - Yosemite National Park. Much of our work is inspired by the natural beauty of our surroundings.
About Nancy
Nancy is a 3rd generation San Franciscan and lives about 1 hour north of the big city with husband Brian. She became a serious Fused Glass artist about 16 years ago. Prior to that, she was a businesswoman for 35+ years, but always involved in art in some way since early childhood. She has a Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, an AS degree in Graphic Art and a Certificate in Ceramics. Nancy has studied fused glass for 20 years and has won several awards. She was resident artist at Sausal Winery for 4 years until the winery was sold August 2012. Nancy enjoys making poppy designs, pattern bars, strip built, and abstract glass art.
Her passion for Fused Glass has continued to grow. Having fun and continual learning is her goal. Nancy enjoys experimenting with a wide range of colors and techniques using opaque, translucent and iridescent glass. She specializes in glass pieces which have layered color / depth and texture. Look for her 1/4" inch outside edge on many of her pieces. Also, Nancy's one-of-a-kind small hearts have taken on a new importance since she had a heart attack in 2010 that was misdiagnosed.

About Brian
Brian was raised in St. Helena, CA. and has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He worked as a programmer for many years in communications.
Brian has been making fused glass art for several years now. He enjoys using various complex pattern techniques (hundreds of small cut pieces assembled in a pattern) and/or using reactive glasses (ie: glasses containing copper and sulphur) and making brick shaped melts which are sliced, reassembled and fired again into art glass plates. The most complex patterns take months to develop starting with the design, cutting and assembly of the glass and firing.
Brian received three awards for his intricate pattern bar work in 2012 and two awards in 2014. He also enjoys working on pot melt designs.
Us
We work together on our art glass pieces using a variety of techniques which we have developed over the years. We will have more spectacular art glass
